The ride was created to benefit the participants and their family’s that use the Center every day. Whether it be through our adaptive ski program, horseback riding, climbing or cycling, every day we participants who continue to inspire and amaze.

One of the great stories from the past year is that of Miles, who came from the midwest for a week at CampXtreme. Miles didn't come to the NAC to become a Paralympian. He came here because he had fun with friends while skiing, swimming, climbing and camping. Sadly, Miles passed away recently. We'll always miss his unforgettable smile, but we're glad that Miles could live a more fulfilling life thanks to the National Ability Center. Thousands of participants come to the NAC each year, and every one has a unique story. By riding in the Summit Challenge and setting up your personal fundraising page, you help keep the National Ability Center in a position to provide the great programs you and many others have come to expect.
